Enjoy Hiking at Wineglass Bay 在杯酒灣享行山樂

We drove to Freycinet National Park (having purchased the vehicle pass to Tasmania national parks previously at Cradle Mountain) and arrived the car park to access the hiking trail of Wineglass Bay. 我們開車到Freycinet國家公園(之前已在搖籃山Cradle Mountain購買了塔斯曼尼亞国家公園車輛通行証),並去到Wineglass Bay遠足徑的停車場。 ( http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/indeX.aspX?base=3363 ) Upon getting off the car, a cute wallaby was already there to welcome us.  It was not afraid of people and we could even pat on it.  Some tourists fed it with fruits and the wallaby kept staying around. 下車時,已見到一隻可愛的小袋鼠。 它不怕接近人,我們甚至可以輕撫它。 一些游客給它水果,小袋鼠更繼續留連。 Information at the Start of the Trail 山 徑起點的資訊板 It took about an hour to walk up the trail with some spots for photos taking and stools for rest.  At the lookout on the hill top, we could see the Wineglass Bay clearly and it was a good high point to take photos. 夜尋Bicheno的小企鵝 Looking for Little Penguin in Bicheno at Night

   To prepare for going to Wineglass Bay on the following day, we stayed at Bicheno in the previous evening.  We have booked house with four bedrooms at "Bicheno by the Bay" to accommodate the 8 of us.  為了方便前去杯酒灣,之前的晚上我們留宿於Bicheno。在Bicheno by The Bay訂了一所有4間睡房的渡假屋,足夠我們8人住。( www.bichenobythebay.com.au ) Bicheno is a town on the east coast of Tasmania.  We chatted with the restaurant owner when having dinner.  She told us that it was easy to see penguins at night in Bicheno, especially along ditches. Bicheno噴出來的海浪 Jetting Waves at Bicheno

Bicheno locates at the east coast of Tasmania.  We went to a popular natural wonder there - the Blow Hole. Bicheno位於塔斯曼尼亞東面海岸。我們去看看那裡的一個大自然奇觀 - Blow Hole 吹蝕穴 ( http://www.bicheno.com.au/thingstodo.aspx ) After parking the car, it was an easy path walking down to the rock shore.  Then, it needed a bit of care to walk near the blow hole because of the rocks slippery surface.下車後,沿著一條簡單小徑,便可到達岩石岸邊。但若然想走近Blow Hole,則要小心它附近濕滑的石面。 Waves from Tasmania Sea come through a hole in the rock and blast up high.  The sea water is jetted up many meters high! 來自塔斯曼尼亞海的海浪衝進岩石的一個洞,然後從洞頂濺出。海水被噴上幾米高! Tips:  Better wear waterproof windbreaker to avoid getting wet from the splashes. 提示:最好穿防水風衣,以防被浪花濺濕。

Visiting stalactite cave with glow-worms is a popular activity in Tasmania.  We went to Mole Creek area which about an hour drive from the visitor centre of Cradle Mountain. 參觀有螢火蟲的鐘乳石洞是塔斯曼尼亞州一個受歡迎的活動。 所以我們從搖籃山的遊客中心開車約一個小時去了Mole Creek 區。 ( http://molecreek.info/natures-wonders/mole-creek-caves/ ) ( http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/index.aspx?base=3530 ) We chose to visit the lower chamber, Marakoopa Cave, which was easier and suitable for all ages. Rainy Day at Cradle Mountain Again 又是下雨天的搖籃山

We booked 2 Chalets to stay at Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village.  Each chalet had two bedrooms and accommodated 4pax at AUD3xx per night. 我們在Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village預訂了2所小木屋。 每間小木屋約3佰多澳元,有兩間臥室,可容納4人。 ( http://www.cradlevillage.com.au/ ) 我們的燒烤晚餐 Our barbeque dinner There was an electric grill in each chalet.  The 8 of us grouped together in one chalet and we had barbeque as dinner.  (Food was bought in a supermarket on the way to Cradle Mountain.) 每所小木屋都有電烤爐。 我們8人集合於其中一所小木屋,我們以燒烤作晚餐。 (食物是在前往搖籃山的路上時,在超市買的。) 胖嘟嘟的袋貂 The Chubby Possum When we prepared the food for barbeque, a lovely Possum visited our balcony.  It waited as if it wanted to join our dinner.  Some of us fed him with breads and cucumber.  (In fact, it was recommended not to feed the wild animals.  We were naughty.  Don't follow us.)  The chubby creature stayed with us until we moved back into the chalet. 當我們準備燒烤的食物時,一頭可愛的袋貂(Possum)到訪了我們的陽台。 它好像是想加入我們共進晚餐...

在Launceston的海鮮午餐 Seafood Lunch at Launceston

Hallams Restaurant We arrived Hallam's Waterfront Restaurant which is located just next to the river. 我們去到位於河邊的Hallam's Waterfront餐廳。 ( http://www.hallamswaterfront.com.au/ ) The restaurant setting was cosy and relax, with windows overlooking the river.  There was an outdoor car park in front of the restaurant and it was free. 餐廳環境舒適輕鬆,經窗戶可欣賞到河邊的景色。 餐廳前有一個露天停車場,且是免費的。 For food, oysters was a must. 至於食物,生蠔是必吃的。 We have also ordered a few main dishes like grilled fish, chowder, curry mussels, etc. 我們還點了幾道主菜,如烤魚,周打魚湯,咖哩青口等。 After the delicious seafood lunch, we spent some time taking photos on the river bank, seeing a group of seagulls sunbathing before returning to the car for our next stop. 美味的海鮮午餐後,我們花了一些時間在河岸拍照,看看那群晒太陽的海鷗,然後返回車往下一站出發。
